Abstract
Using eddy-current and other methods, electromagnetic properties of iron do ped with small quantities of carbide-forming elements (W, V, and Ti), along side the properties of low-carbon steels, have been studied. The effect of the carbon content in the alloys on their electromagnetic properties has be en analyzed.
