Abstract
A novel linker designed for polymer support oligosaccharide synthesis is de scribed. The nitro group carrying Wang resin type linker was stable under L ewis acidic glycosylation conditions. Selective reduction of the nitro grou p under the homogenous conditions was accompanied by spontaneous cyclizatio n to release the oligosaccharides from polymer.
