Abstract
A cyclocondensation of beta -enaminonitriles, carbonyl compounds and aceton itrile is described. Using different cyclic or open chain enaminonitriles v arious N-heterocycles were obtained in a one-step procedure. The base catal ysed reaction was also carried out with alpha,beta -unsaturated nitriles un der similar conditions.
