Abstract
Palladium-catalyzed amination on 4-chloro-3(2H)-pyridazinones has been achi eved for the first time. Anilines, 2-aminopyridine and benzophenone imine r eact in good to excellent yields. Excess of alkali metal carbonate base is crucial for the reaction with lower catalyst loadings.
