Senses as measuring instruments: Optimization of the incandescent mantles manufacturing process using its texture as quality characteristic.

A sequential optimization of the production process of incandescent mantles using as main characteristic its sensorial texture is carried out. Panel results (texture evaluation) are processed according Friedman's and K ramer's tests. Equivalent conclusions are achieved by both tests. The optimized process not only attain a good texture but also allows the ac complishment of legal regulations on ionizating radiations and suggest chan ges of the process for a best operativity.
