Abstract
Optical purity (enantiomeric excess: eel of organic amine salts such as 1-( 1-naphthyl)ethylamine hydrochloride was determined by FAB mass spectrometry using a deuterium-labeled/unlabeled enantiomer pair of a newly synthesized saccharide derivative (DD-Gal2deg/LL-Gal2deg-d(24)), podands.
