Abstract
The oxime of artemisia ketone is smoothly converted to the pyrazole derivat ive by sodium nitrate and acetic acid in CHCl3. The structure of the pyrazo le was found by x-ray structural analysis. The PMR and C-13 NMR spectra wer e interpreted using two-dimensional H-1-C-13 NMR (COSY, COLOC).
