Abstract
The structures of four triterpene glycosides from the leaves of Schefflerop sis angkae (Araliaceae) are found by chemical methods and NMR spectroscopy to be the 3-O-alpha -L-arabinopyranosides of oleanic and ursolic acids and their 28-O-alpha -L-rhamnopyranosyl-(1-4)-O-beta -gentiobiosyl esters, whic h are designated L-B-1, L-B-2, L-H-1, and L-H-2, respectively. The glycosid e L-H-2 is new.
