Abstract
In this paper an attempt is made to examine the status and the role of the basic courses of electromagnetism in academic training of electrical engine ers. The subject is viewed from several angles, trying to reflect the compl exity of teaching and of the learning process. lit addition some opinions o f why the studies in electromagnetism are an important part of the curricul um in electrical engineering are presented.
