Abstract
Australia now has national food safety standards. Tania Martin and Lit Dean
of the Australia New Zealand Food Authority Food Safety Program worked on
the development of these standards in conjunction with the States and Terri
tories and experts on food safety. In this article they discuss the new sta
ndards and their implications for food businesses.
