Abstract
In this correspondence, the margin of stability of two-dimensional (2-D) co ntinuous systems is considered. In particular, the definition of the stabil ity margins for a 2-D discrete system is extended to a 2-D continuous one. Two methods to compute the stability margin of 2-D continuous systems are p resented. Illustrative examples are provided.
