Abstract
,10-Tetrakis(3,3-dimethyl-1-butynyl)phthalocyanine and 2,3,9,10-tetram ethoxyphthalocyanine were prepared by the condensation of a ''half'' p hthalocyanine intermediate (prepared from 4,5-bis(3,3-dimethyl-1-butyn yl)phthalonitrile or phthalonitrile) with phthalonitrile and 4,5-dimet hoxyphthalonitrile respectively.
