Abstract
The possibility of an antigestagen therapy in pyometra in four cats was des cribed. The queens were treated twice with subcutaneous injections of 10 mg /kg BW Aglepristone with an interval of 24 hours and on the seventh day aft er first clinical examination. No side effects were observed. Two month aft er the end of treatment the cats were controlled again. No clinical signs w ere observed.
