Abstract
The assignments of the H-1 and C-13 NMR spectra of the 3-deoxyanthocyanins apigeninidin-5-glucoside and luteolinidin-5-glucoside, present in petals of the Gesneriad Sinningia cardinalis are presented. The resonances were assi gned using 1D (H-1,C-13, C-13-DEPT) and 2D (DQF COSY, HSQC, HMBC) NMR techn iques. Copyright (C) 2000 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.
