Abstract
For linear dynamic circuits, the condition of the index to be higher than o ne is calculated symbolically. Using Analog Insydes a function for the comp uter algebra system Mathematica is written. It calculates the index conditi on if the sparse tableau analysis method is applied to the circuit. Example s illustrate the performance of the method. (C) 2000 IMACS.
