A passive-active measuring radar system for determining the water content o
f cloud formations in the atmosphere is considered. The accuracy of the mea
surements is analyzed and ways of reducing the measurement error of the pas
sive and active channels of the system are determined. Structures of the in
terface and synchronisation of the radar system with a personal computer ar
e proposed in which the computer carries out the function of a universal au
tomated system for processing and displaying data.
