Abstract
The ac Hall effect of YBa2Cu3O7 was measured in the normal state using time-domain spectroscopy. In contrast to some theories that explain t he anomalous de Hall effect by postulating a much slower quasiparticle scattering rate for Hall conduction than for normal conduction, we re port a Hall scattering rate that is consistent with the normal scatter ing rate.
