Abstract
We report on QCD radiative corrections to the process p (p) over bar --> Zb (b) over bar in the approximation in which the b quark is considered massl ess. The implementation of this process in the general purpose Monte Carlo program MCFM is discussed in some detail. These results an used to investig ate backgrounds to Higgs boson production in the ZH channel. We investigate the Higgs boson mass range (100 GeV<m(H)<130 GeV) for the Fermilab Tevatro n running at <root>s = 2 TeV.
