Abstract
The production of excited quarks in the resonance channel at CERN LHC throu gh the quark gluon fusion mechanism and their subsequent decays to ordinary quarks and gluons is investigated. It is shown that the choice of appropri ate selection cuts allows one to observe the signatures of excited quarks ( if they exist) in double jet final states.
