Abstract
We consider Hill's equation y " + (lambda - q)y = 0, where q is an element of L-1[0,a] on the interval [0, a] with periodic and semi-periodic boundary condition. We derive the asymptotic form of the eigenvalues without smoothness conditi ons on q.
