Abstract
The velocity imaging photoionisation coincidence (VIPCO) technique is shown to be a powerful tool for studies of ion pair formation. Sequential mechan isms are demonstrated for some three-body ion pair formation reactions. Obs ervation of a new type of reaction producing one negatively and two positiv ely charged ions plus an electron is reported. Copyright (C) 2000 John Wile y & Sons, Ltd.
