M. Lintz et Av. Papoyan, A simple and efficient laser beam trap using a highly absorbing glass plate at Brewster incidence, REV SCI INS, 71(12), 2000, pp. 4681-4682
Laser beam traps based on the use of highly absorbing neutral density glass
plates at Brewster incidence have been implemented. These simple and inexp
ensive devices reach residual light levels on the order of 10(-9) with no p
articular difficulty. Better rejection efficiencies require good quality po
lishing of the absorbing glass plates. (C) 2000 American Institute of Physi
