In this work, the influence of some aggressive media with insecticide subst
ances on 485T Nestrapol glass reinforced polyester resin (ignitible and non
ignitible) at ambient and 40 degreesC temperature, for three exposure years
, is presented. The experimental results enabled the anticorrosion performa
nces of this materials to be defined in terms of corrosion media, the tempe
rature range and the efficiency time. This material presents good (G) and m
oderate (M) resistance in all aggressive insecticide media.
