A comparison between the performances got with the selective solvents extraction and hydrocracking processes used in lubricating oils production

This paper is presenting, comparatively, analytical data regarding the chem ical composition and some characteristics of the lube oils obtained by, sel ective solvents extraction, or hydrocracking processes. The oxidation stabi lity and additivation susceptibility, with antioxidizing additive, of the o ils got by the two processes are rendered evident.
