Abstract
Besides piperine, methyl piperate, N-isobutyleicosa2,4-dienamide and b eta-sitosterol-beta-D-glucapyranoside, two new compounds, 3-methyl-5-d ecanoylpyridine and 28-methylnonacos-27-en-1-oic acid have been isolat ed and characterized from Piper retrofractum.
