Abstract
Different scenarios of heavy-fermion behaviour are pointed out. They includ e Kondo lattices, the Zeeman effect and special forms of charge ordering. S pecific examples for the three cases are discussed, i.e., CeRu2Si2, Nd2-xCe xCuO4 and Yb4As3.
