Sialoblastoma

Tumours of the salivary gland are very uncommon in children. We present a c ase of sialoblastoma, a very rare congenital salivary-gland tumour, initial ly recognised on antenatal ultrasound. After histological diagnosis, a supe rficial parotidectomy was performed at 21 days of age with preservation of the facial nerve. There is no recurrence at 2 years.
