Pulmonary vasculitis includes various disease entities with a wide range of
clinical presentations and overlapping imaging features. Radiological find
ings of vasculitis in the angiitis-granulomatosis group are nodular and pat
chy opacities, whereas the principal feature of those diseases causing wide
spread capillaritis is diffuse air space consolidation. Aneurysms or stenos
es of pulmonary arteries are seen in patients with Takayasu arteritis or Be
hcet's disease.
