Abstract
Ring opening of the cyclic [((BuP)-P-t)(3)As](-) anion results from reactio ns with electrophiles (RX = H2O, MeI, CH2=CHCH2I, PhCH2Br), providing a sim ple and general approach to triphosphine ligands of the type [((BuP)-P-t)(( BuRP)-R-t)(2)].
