Abstract
Laser ablation and time-of-flight mass spectrometry have been used to gener ate and characterize aluminum-chlorine and transition metal-chlorine ionic species. Many new complexes have been observed. The structures of the monom etalchlorine species are discussed. (C) 2000 Elsevier Science B.V. All righ ts reserved.
