Abstract
Uniform submicron particles of (+)-6-methoxy-alpha-methyl-2-napthalene acetic acid (naproxen) were precipitated by neutralization of basic so lutions of the drug in the presence of polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP). The morphology and size of the resulting particles depended on the polyme r stabilizer and on the final ionic strength of the naproxen solution. (C) 1997 Elsevier Science B.V.
