Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to present a simulation of sheet cutting probl ems using the large time increment method coupled with the dynamic regulari zation method. The aim of this study is to take advantage of inertia effect s to overcome convergence problems due to the strong non-linearities of num erical modelling. To deal with the large time increment method, the dynamic modelling developed in this paper consider the displacements and the inert ia forces as dual variables. (C) 2000 Elsevier Science S.A.
