Abstract
A material combining both mirror-conjugated and racemic chirality propertie s is characterized and classified within the context of linear bianisotropi c mediums. Planewave propagation in the chosen material is studied with par ticular emphasis on the interaction of different and no handedness along ce rtain specified directions. Comparison is made with isotropic chiral medium s as well as uniaxial bianisotropic mediums.
