Abstract
The solubility of hydrogen sulfide (H2S) and carbon dioxide (CO2) in diethy lene glycol (DEG) has been determined at temperatures in the range 298-398 K at pressures up to 7.5 MPa (for H2S) or 20 MPa (for CO2). The experimenta l results were correlated by the Peng-Robinson equation of state, and inter action parameters have been obtained for these systems. The parameters in t he Krichevsky-Ilinskaya equation were calculated from these interaction par ameters. The vapor-phase compositions predicted by the equation of state ha ve been compared with published data. (C) 2000 Elsevier Science B.V. All ri ghts reserved.
