Abstract
A voltammetric determination of DNA/RNA is described. The new aspect is the use of the extracellular endonuclease Serratia marcescens in the sample pr eparation. Using this enzyme it is possible to determine DNA/RNA with a det ection limit of 2-5 pg/mL. This satisfies the requirements of the WHO and t he FDA.
