F. Centurelli et al., A synthesis-oriented conditional stability criterion for microwave multidevice circuits with complex termination impedances, IEEE MICR G, 10(11), 2000, pp. 460-462
In this work, a new conditional stability criterion for multidevice circuit
s is proposed, in order to guarantee stability in spite of input and output
termination variations in regions surrounding complex nominal values. A ch
eck of this criterion can be implemented in a commercial CAD environment, a
nd this allows imposing stability from within an optimization routine. A de
sign methodology to synthesize multidevice circuits with complex terminatio
n impedances, which are stable under both process parameters and terminatio
ns variations, is proposed.
