Abstract
The reaction of saccharinate ions with uranyl nitrate hexahydrate (2:1) has led to the opening of five-membered heterocyclic rings, and the formation of a novel uranyl complex of o-sulfamidobenzoate. This has been confirmed b y determination of its crystal and molecular structure at 150 K. (C) 2000 E lsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
