Abstract
Corynebacterium pseudotuberculosis was isolated from superficial abscesses on the ventral aspect of the mandible of a two-year-old pedigree Suffolk ew e that had been recently imported into the Republic of Ireland from England . Osteomyelitis of the mandible was present, from which Corynebacterium pse udotuberculosis and other bacteria were isolated.
