Abstract
The subject of the present paper is the investigation of a frequency u pshift of an electromagnetic wave during its motion through a layer of isotropic plasma with fast-rising concentration in geometric optics a pproximation. The investigation is based on the Michel'son effect, whi ch is a generalization of the Doppler effect for non-stationary media. (C) 1997 Published by Elsevier Science B.V.
