Abstract
The linear response of a one-dimensional vaporisation process to modul ated surface heating is considered with allowance for the back reactio n of gas-dynamic perturbations in a subsonic Vapour flow. It is shown that the gas-dynamic effects enhance the resonant behaviour of the res ponse described earlier by Samokhin and Guskov. (C) 1997 Published by Elsevier Science B.V.
