Abstract
Human ovarian tissue consisting of stroma, pre-granulosa cells and oocytes, has been frozen using a variety of cooling rates and dehydration regimens. The differential survival of the various cell types under these conditions highlights the difficulty in defining optimum protocols for the cryopreser vation of multicellular tissue.
