Abstract
Experimental and theoretical study of locking of two mutually orthogonal po larisation modes in a cw flash-lamp-pumped Nd3+ : YAG laser is reported. Th e possibility of locking polarisation modes by a radio signal is shown theo retically. The limiting detuning allowing for the existence of locking is d etermined. Locking at 23 MHz is experimentally studied.
