Abstract
Analysis of protein-protein interactions has been revolutionized by the yea st two-hybrid system introduced by Fields and coworkers. In recent years, s imilar genetic assays have been developed in bacteria. We describe here sev eral of these systems and highlight some potential applications of these te chnologies.
