Abstract
An experimental investigation of the hydrogen absorption rate of Ni-do ped and pure Mg powders is presented. The results are interpreted usin g a nucleation-and-growth model. Application-relevant aspects are disc ussed and a mathematical description of the intrinsic hydriding rate o f Mg(Ni) is presented.
