Abstract
Orientation of the magnetic moments of the particles of a highly magnetic p hase in a magnetically hard Fe-Co-Ni-Al alloy (YuN15DK25BA grade) was studi ed by Mossbauer spectroscopy. The results indicate that the magnetic moment s, instead of being oriented along the axes of anisotropy of the particles, fluctuate with an average amplitude of theta = 45 degrees and a characteri stic time tau (s) approximate to 6 x 10(-9) s relative to these axes.
