Abstract
Several longitudinal domains may form under the action of a collimated annu lar beam propagating in an optically bistable cavity-free system. The compu ter simulation of this phenomenon indicates two possible pathways for the d omain formation process. (C) 2000 MAIK "Nauka/Interperiodica".
