A new approach to the creation of tunable lasers with synthesized spectra b
ased on composite active media is proposed. This method eliminates irreprod
ucibility of the energy distribution between components of the lasing spect
rum, which commonly appears with an increase in their number. A four-freque
ncy laser employing a single active medium is realized for the first time.
