Abstract
Possible sex pheromones of the brachyuran crab Erimacrus isenbeckii have be en isolated by using a unique sponge assay from the water in which postmolt females had been maintained. Their structures were elucidated to be new ce ramides by spectroscopic and chemical degradation studies. (C) 2000 Elsevie r Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
