Abstract
A highly regio- and diastereoselective synthesis of 2-amino-1-hydroxy-2-ary l ethylphosphonic esters was achieved by opening trans 1,2-epoxy-2-aryl eth ylphosphonic esters with 28% NH3(aq.) in methanol. (C) 2000 Published by El sevier Science Ltd.
