Abstract
The percentage of tannic cells in the medullar parenchyma just below the ap ex was measured from the beginning of the bud edification to the burst, sur rounding eleven months later. After the spring storage, concomitant with th e initiation of the first primordia, the tannins desappeared. During autumn and winter, two slow organogenesis stages are concomitant with the formati on of new tannic cells, whom content then desappeared. At last, an importan t accumulation stage precedes the burst. These phenomenons are discussed wi th the variations of meristematic activity.
